Changing the receipt paper on your PAX A920 terminal is a simple process. Follow this guide to load the paper roll correctly, enable print preview, and ensure smooth receipt printing.


Steps to Load the Paper Roll

  1. Access the Paper Roll Hatch

    • Open the back of the A920 device to locate the paper roll compartment.
    • Lift the hatch to open the compartment.
  2. Insert the Paper Roll

    • Place the receipt paper roll into the compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom of the roll.
    • Pull a small section of paper out of the compartment before closing the hatch.
    • Important: Incorrect installation may result in error messages.

Enabling Print Preview in System Settings

  1. Open the Payment Application of your choice on the A920.
  2. Access the Function Tab to navigate to the system settings.
  3. Enter the system settings password, which is the current date in the format MMDDYYYY.
  4. In the Settings Panel, locate the System Settings tab.
  5. Under the Working Mode section, toggle the Print Preview option to "Enabled."

Printing a Transaction Receipt
